Recycled Bonded Rubber Surfacing
Our recycled bonded rubber surfacing is a 100% recycled rubber industrial tyre which is shredded and coloured to produce a bark type effect. The shred is mixed with a specifically formulated binder, then levelled, rolled and finished at a minimum of 50mm thickness over a geotextile membrane. Soft Mulch is extremely porous; however, poorly drained areas may require some form of drainage prior to installation. Bonded rubber surfacing requires minimal groundwork preparation and can easily be installed directly onto grass or any other hard standing surface (such as tarmac).
Ideal for school playgrounds where safety surfacing is required under play equipment or as an weather play surface. Due to the fact that it is made from recycled materials, it also enhances a school’s eco credentials and reduces the carbon footprint of any project.
