We had recently supplied an outdoor classroom to this school in Cheshire and the head was wanting to replace her existing timber trim trail area which was now showing ageing signs of rot and general wear and tear.

But she didn’t just want to go down the same path of replacing like for like in timber and so called us up to ask her advice. Our advice was just two words – recycled plastic! And when we told her all about the benefits of this wonderful material, she was sold!

We therefore designed a trail using recyled plastic which would have a flooring also made of recyled rubber mulch to allow them greater all year round use. We have now completed the first phase due to budget constaints and will be back shortly to change the back section of the trail as well.
