Recycling Centre

We all know the importance of re-cycling and it is one of the major eco schools topics. But we think that we have come up with two innovative ways to teach children how to recycle water and rubbish/litter.

Package includes:

The “Igloo” Self-Creation Den

This den is so simple that it has great potential for role play with imaginative, physical and social benefits for children to make a connection with their physical environment. But it has a creative twist in that children can collect litter or rubbish and make their own den out of recycled materials by attaching (by way of plastic ties) these items to the plastic tubing frame – for example an igloo made out of plastic milk cartons. The children are only limited by their imagination with this unique product.

Timber Storage Unit

A handy storage unit for recycled items for the self-creation den

Water Recycling and Power Generating Water Mine

This is quite a unique product. The miners waterplay feature consists of a stainless steel rill element clad with timber in order to give it a miner’s role play appearance. This self-contained features includes a hand pump set in a tower that sucks water from a reservoir underneath onto a water wheel. This wheel then transfers motion through a shaft to an interactive pulley that can run a windmill at a variable speed.

The water drops from the wheel into the rill and can then be dammed with a screw action sluice gate and removable plastic gates. Finally the flow can be changed and moderated with moveable textured “islands”.

This product is an excellent multi-use play feature which also teaches children about how to recycle water and how to conduct interesting science experiments.

Prices quoted allow for delivery and installation of above items within a 150 mile radius from our factory in NN29 postcode (call for quote if outside of this area). All costs are based on good site access, a suitable flat and cleared base to install onto and any excess spoil left on site.
